International trading, nowadays, has become an indispensable part of governmental agenda in most countries around the world. Besides, mainstream pop culture from major countries, such as Hollywood films and Japanese cartoons, can quickly occupy the hearts and minds of the people in small countries while traditional and local customs in those countries can face a huge challenge to continue to exist.

Any country which is against this tide, like North Korea, pays a huge price with a stagnant economy and an inferior quality of spiritual life. However, it is also true that there is a necessity for authorities in weaker nations to put up policies which can protect their domestic companies as well as local traditions to some extent.
