　　Today we will talk about questions that are related to current issue-- Coronavirus.
　　在这个季度，雅思口语Part1有一个新的话题是关于 wild animal （野生动物），其中有一道题：
Do you think it’s important to protect wild animals?毋庸置疑保护野生动物很重要 Undoubte
dly, it is vital to protect animals. 那重要性在哪里？
　　我们可以结合武汉肺炎/冠状病毒这一客观事实来说明保护野生动物的重要性。因为这次疫情是
来源于一种动物并可以由动物把病毒传染给人的。所以我们可以这样说 Take Coronavirus （冠状病
毒）for example, it’s a contagious （传染的）virus that originates from（来源于）wild a
nimals and can be transmitted （传染）from animals to humans. 以冠状病毒为例，它就是一种
传染性的病毒来源于一种动物，并且可以由动物传给人。可是如果我们不去吃野生动物，也许这次疫
情就不会爆发了。 那么我们这样说：However, if we didn’t eat wild animals, the Coronaviru
s outbreak （爆发）wouldn’t happen.
　　总结一下，我们的答案是：Undoubtedly, it is vital to protect animals. Take Coronaviru
s for example, it’s a contagious virus that originates from wild animals and can be tra
nsmitted from animals to humans. However, if we didn’t eat wild animals, this Coronavir
us might not have broken out.
　　我们再来看一道雅思口语Part 3的话题 News, Why do you think it’s important to read ne
wspaper ? 我们同样可以和武汉肺炎这一时事结合起来。武汉肺炎属于domestic news (国内新闻）
，那我们在这里就说读国内新闻的好处。
　　每天读新闻是不是可以让我们知道每天发生了什么，知道病情的发展呢？我们是不是还可以从新
闻中获取有效的安全预防措施呢？所以我们可以这样说：News is essential for a number of reas
ons within a society. It’s crucial tobe informed（告知）about both good and bad things 
that affect our country. Forinstance, people could get up to date news （最新的）about C
oronavirus from newspaper on a daily basis. We could also learn effective safety precaut
ions （安全防护措施）against Coronavirus from the news. 除此之外，相比互联网、社交平台，
报纸上的新闻更加客观透明。一些人会在网上捏造事实、传播谣言，以此来得到更多的曝光率。我们
可以这样说：On top of that, information on the newspaper is more objective and transpare
nt （客观，透明的）compared with the news on the internet and social media. Some individ
uals make up stories （捏造事实） and spread rumors （传播谣言） online so as to get mor
e exposure （得到更多的曝光率）. That’s why many people are fond of reading news every 
single day.
