小编:长安 243雅思是非判断题是雅思阅读考试中常考的题型,几乎每场都会考到。相对于雅思阅读考试中的其他考点,比较考点所出现的次数还是相当高的。那么,比较考点的出题形式都有哪些呢?
据环球教育闫龙珠老师的统计,比较考点的出题形式共三种,第一种是比较结构A more/less than B;第二种是same as 结构,即A same as B 结构;第三种是It 结构,即it + adj./adv. 比较级+ to do A (rather) than B. 并且笔者还发现,这三种出题形式出现形式最多的是比较结构,且以正向的more than 结构为主。那么,接下来笔者通过具体的示例来让读者更好地理解比较结构。
第一种是出题形式是比较结构,以剑8 test 4 passage 1第6题为例:There is a wider range of achievement amongst English pupils studying math than among their Japanese counterparts。(YES/NO/NOT GIVEN)读者不难看出本题的考点为wider.
原文出题句为: Large sample international comparisons of pupil's attainments since the 1960s have established that not only Japanese pupils at age 13 have better scores of average attainment, but there was also a larger proportion of 'low' attainers in England, where, incidentally, the variation in attainment scores was much greater。
这句话中,我们可以看对日本小学生average attainment的描述为 better, 而对英国学生attainment scores 的波动范围描述为larger,很显然答案应该为YES.
第二种出题形式是same as 结构,以剑8 test 3 passage 2第22题为例:The skills of ordinary individuals are in essence the same as the skills of prodigies。利用句子主干词定位,在原文中找到了出题句:What we appreciate, enjoy or marvel at the works of genius or the achievements of prodigies are the manifestations of skills or abilities of genius which are similar to, but so much superior to, our own。
这句话中的similar to 对应题干当中的same,故而正确答案根据题目要求为YES/NO/NOT GIVEN, 故正确答案应该为YES. 在雅思阅读当中,类似结构还有the same level as, the same channel as, behave the same way as 等等。
第三种出题形式是It 结构,以剑6 test 2 passage 3 第40题为例:Early people found it easier to count by using their fingers rather than a group of pebbles. 利用该句中的特殊定位词fingers 和pebbles 定位到原文中这句话:Counting is not directly related to the formation of a number concept because it is possible to count by matching the items being counted against a group of pebbles, grains of corn, or the counter's fingers (YES/NO/NOT GIVEN)。
从这句话中,读者可以看到原文中并未对pebbles 和fingers 进行比较,只是陈述了三种不同的计数方法,所以题干中的比较关系也就无从判断判断。根据题目要求答案应为NOT GIVEN.
总之,判断题当中的比较考点在考试中所占的比例还是相当多的,了解了比较考点的出题形式能帮助考生更有针对性的破题,提高正确率。
