现在很多中国人的生活已经跟英语分不开了，每天日常要说要写大量的英文，大家注意到的是英语开始越来越多的出现在我们身边，注意不到的是“Chinglish”也慢慢渗透我们的学习和生活，今天环球教育李晶晶老师就来讨论下中国同学英语表达中的“Chinglish”现象。

　　某学霸就读美国大学，期末要写一篇中国经济的论文，里面有这样一句话：China should accelerate the pace of economic reform.

　　好的，大家能看出什么问题来吗？

　　A同学：左看右看很正常，没有错啊。

　　好吧，让我们一起来看看：accelerate 的意思就是to increase the pace of。所以，这里有个重复现象。可是如果不仔细看，不透彻了解单词的意思，还真的是很容易被忽略呢。

　　你认为重复在孩子们的英语使用中是个例吗？那你就太天真了，来来来，我们再看看下面10个例子：

　　1.There have been good harvests in agricultural.

　　点评：harvest 其实暗示了农业，工业是没有harvest一说的，所以此处in agriculture其实是不必要的。

　　正确表达：There have been good harvests.

　　2.Living standards for the people in both urban and rural areas continued to rise.

　　点评：living standards就是用来形容人的，所以在后面再加上for the people就是画蛇添足。

　　正确表达：Living standards in both urban and rural areas continued to rise.

　　3.These hardships are temporary in nature.

　　点评：在本句话中，in nature 是多余表达，temporary in nature的表达就像是说Chinese flag is red in color或者是pandas are few in number。

　　正确表达：These hardships are temporary.

　　4.The development of our economy in the future will depend on…

　　点评：这是许多同学写作中常犯的错误：will depend on已经可以表达出将来的意思，所以in the future是不必要的添加。

　　正确表达：The development of our economy will depend on…

　　5.We should adopted a serious of measures to ensure that….

　　点评：此处measure的复数形式已经包含了a serious 的意思，所以没有必要再两个叠加一起使用。

　　正确表达：We should adopted measures to ensure that…

　　6.Following the realization of mechanization and electrification of agriculture.

　　点评：realization 和mechanization 还有 electrification 的意思有重合，后两个单词意思里已经包含有实现，并不需要再重复一遍。

　　正确表达：Following the mechanization and electrification of agriculture.

　　7.It is essential to strengthen the building of national defense.

　　点评：strengthen national defense 已经表达出了 building 的意思，这里画蛇添足了。

　　正确表达：It is essential to strengthen national defense

　　8.At that time the situation in northeast China was still one where the enemy was stronger than the people's force.

　　点评：situation 是一个多余且危险的词，用了这个词后面还要加上one where，显得啰嗦且不必要。

　　正确表达：At that time， the enemy was still stronger than the people's force.

　　9.To ensure a relationship of close cooperation between…

　　点评：cooperation 本身已经暗藏了双方的关系是合作，这里再加上relationship 是重复。

　　正确表达：to ensure close cooperation between…

　　10.They should conduct a careful examination of ….

　　点评：conduct是展开的意思，在中文中有开展什么运动的表达，但是在英文中conduct与后面的examination是重复表达。

　　正确表达：They should carefully examine……

　　上面的例子我们不难看出，很多句子的不地道其实隐藏的很深，如果不是老外，还真的很难觉察句子里的重复现象，很多同学英语的表达都是直接把汉语意思翻译出来，但是英汉两种语言使用方法上差异还是非常大的。

　　建议各位同学多多使用英语释义的字典查单词，准确掌握单词本意，并且多模仿多观察杂志报刊中地道英文表达，不要闭门造车，方能尽量避免这个问题。
